Yaya so disappointed with elimination

Following Ivory Coast’s third consecutive exit in the first round of the FIFA World Cup, after their 2-1 defeat to Greece in their last Group C encounter of Brazil 2014, Yaya Touré spoke about his disappointment and his future with the national team.

The Elephants were 30 seconds away from a historic qualification.
"I think they have been very clever. But yet, it is very difficult to concede such a goal with thirty seconds to go. Now I am going to rest and decide on my future."

"I really don’t know how to explain it. The last few days have been very difficult for my family and myself, and suddenly everything collapses around me. We had many hopes, but once again we missed the opportunity. We can only blame ourselves."

Toure didn't want to be drawn on the resignation of coach Sabri Lamouchi.

"It is not easy to comment. We are all disappointed because this time around we had greater chances to qualify, but we were not up to the challenge. But that’s the law of sport and we need to look forward."
