Juve Kean on their new jewel

After becoming the first player born this century to play in the Champions League, Moise Kean looks set to sign his first professional contract at Juventus.

Italy-born Moise Kean's roots are in the Ivory Coast where his father is from.

But his forename comes from the Spanish or Portuguese equivalent of the name Moses. To pronounce this starlet's name, try this phonetic version - Moy-seh Cay-an.

The Old Lady starlet made both his Serie A and Champions League debut inside a week, raising his profile across Europe to new heights.

Yet to sign a professional deal, Kean could walk away from Turin with any new club only paying a compensatory fee. However, the youngster looks poised to pen a deal with the club who have been developing him since since he was 10.

Moise's brother, Giovanni, told Gazzetta dello Sport: 'Moise sacrifices, he is generous because Juve taught this to him.

'They did it to make him become a beast and forged in the mind is the fact he is at the right club who will make him explode.

'The Juve fans can rest assured that [Moise's agent, Mino] Raiola does not want to take him away. Indeed, if he had wanted to, he would have already done so.

'Maybe at the beginning Juve had not realised how strong he was. Then he only asked for a fair deal. It was found, and shortly he will sign the contract.'

Raiola, who has seen client Paul Pogba establish himself as a superstar at Juventus, is tipping his latest protege to reach the very top.

'Kean is the name to watch in 2017, and I'm not just saying that because I'm his agent,' the superagent said.

'He is only 16 years old, but has this determination within him that is just scary. He can become a big star at Juventus.'
