K-P moves back to Germany

AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has completed a surprise move to German side Schalke.

Boateng, who was born in Berlin but represents Ghana, scored twice in AC Milan's 3-0 win over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old has also played for Hertha Berlin, Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur and is the half brother of Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng, joined Milan in 2010.

Schalke have been drawn against Chelsea , Basel and Steaua Bucharest in the competition's group stage.

Despite playing in Europe already this season, Boateng would be available for selection for Schalke.

Boateng made 74 appearances for Milan, scoring 10 goals.
