Wolves consider Keita Balde move

WolverhamptonWanderers are said to be mulling over a January approach for Keita Balde, the AS Monaco winger who is on loan at Inter Milan - however West Ham United have now entered the frame.

The 23-year-old joined Inter on loan until the end of the season but his stint there could be cancelled once the transfer window re-opens, according to reports.

Balde has struggled to adapt to life with the Italian side - failing to score and only managing one assist in 13 matches.

But Balde has shown before that his pace and eye for goal can be a handful, especially at Lazio before he signed for Monaco, and Wolves are keeping a close eye on the situation.

Reports in Italy state the Molineux club are ‘more than interested’ in bringing Balde to the Premier League, however they could face competition from West Ham who are also said to be keen.

It is understood that any Premier League suitors would have to pay a fee of around £4.5m to take over the loan and land the left-sided Senegal international for the rest of the campaign.
