Early Keita switch might happen

Bild are reporting a softening in RB Leipzig's stance over bringing forward Naby Keita's move to Liverpool in the January transfer window.

Liverpool are keen to bring the move forward to fill the hole left in their midfield following the Felipe Coutinho move Barcelona.

Leipzig are also looking to strengthen to push for qualification for the Champions League and that has softened the stance of the RB CEO Oliver Mintzlaff  who had refused a winter transfer.

According to to BILD a sum of 15 to 20 million euros would secure an early exit that RB could invest well in new talent. Despite the unlimited possibilities of sponsor Red Bull, the club must acquire additional revenue in order not to violate UEFA's financial fair play.

Keita has also not shown last season's outstanding performances of the form and has become isolated in the first team squad after off field incidents.

There was the driving license affair (he drove without valid driving license) with a penalty order over 415000 euro.

He comes with an entourage for training. Buys new and expensive cars regularly (Mercedes G-Class, Mercedes GT, Porsche Cayenne).

It's also said Keita is now not so diligent with his German lessons grind, but rather concentrates on his English vocabulary.

In his head Keita has probably already concluded with Leipzig. Therefore, even with the bosses now a rethinking has taken place.
